I collaborate with startups, established companies, designers, and creative firms on naming, messaging, taglines, strategy, brand architecture, research, and content development. Recently, I’ve worked on projects for Caterpillar, Harvard Business School, Procter & Gamble, Warner Bros., and Vermont Smoke & Cure.

If you’d like to chat about a possible project, please feel free to email me or give me a call. I’m always happy to review materials, discuss whether I’m the best fit for an engagement or make a referral, and prepare a proposal/scope of work. I can offer client references and relevant samples of work, depending upon your needs.

Previously, I led naming and writing teams at Interbrand, Landor, and Siegel+Gale, and also worked as an planner at Saatchi & Saatchi in New York City and London. I’ve lived in the UK and Slovenia, completed month-long writing residencies in Finland and Croatia, and worked on branding projects for clients in Bulgaria, Canada, China, Estonia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Switzerland, and Taiwan.

I have a bachelor’s degree in English and American Literature and Language from Harvard, as well as a master’s in European Studies and a doctorate in International Studies from Cambridge. I’m now based in the other Cambridge (Massachusetts) where, in my spare time, I’m a writer, cook, traveler, linguist, snowshoer, type nerd, oyster-lover, Yugoslavist, Fennophile, and dog-owner.
